Uninstall any 3rd party antivirus/firewall. Click Start and type "msconfig" and Enter Click on Services TabCheck "Hide all Microsoft services", then click Deselect all". Now click on "Startup Tab" and click "Deselct All". Restart the computer. Click Start and select Windows Update.
