Ajaxian is the #1 News Source for Ajax
SproutCore is much more JavaScript focused though, and gives you MVC in the client in a simple and intuitive way. I found it interesting to see how the framework has developed, from its Rails plugin roots, to now (dispel myth: it has no dependency on Rails, just some build files are Ruby).

I realize this isn't exactly related to the AJAX API but this is the best place I've found to ask this question. I'm curious how Google determines which sites it uses to gather data that it shows on the Details and Review portions of the local search
